WOW! 5-40cent rides? I love to hear stories by people who actually lived it. This park is incredible, the history, culture, everything that you highlighted in this piece is very interesting. I think you really captured the essence of that time because I can imagine being there, damn near can smell the popcorn lol Very Nice.

I'm trying to find the Funtown Jingle which Richard Pegue wrote and executed--what a man. Of course I remember it well---can hear it in my head. I think it might be in the interview that Bob Abrahamison did --see the<br />
blog on Richard. That's the best interview ever--although Bob got on my nerves--(he talked too much). Still, I appreciate it to the heights.<br />

What a history lesson on Chicago,It started off being a little funny ( the part about you all getting lost) and off all the people, it was your father that saw yall.we know who put him there at the right time but I won't go there.I know the park is a great lost to the people of Chicago,I know the memories will last a life time and what fun they will have sharing with their children and grands.The pictures are great, they put me right there in Chicago and at the park.I relly enjoyed…
