I had a ball listening to the show last night. I know those that listened did also.
I love hearing new things and ran to find Zoom and Arthur Prysock. I snatched both up faster than a speeding bullet..LOL Thank you for sharing some of your collection with us my dear. I sent out a broadcast messege to the members and some did come to the chat. I also had you streaming on the Main Page simultaneously. I have your podcast up in Chat right now and will play it until your next show.
Keep up the good work and I you can rely on my support, which is well deserved!
(Plus you are my homie ) I miss being home.
Hey there Gary my Brother, yep, i be all over Soulful Detroit....LOL. Hope you having a great friday so far, and hopefully one day soon i can catch one of your shows
This bout the funniest thing i ever seen and read...
We have to admit we have a soft spot for any record that lists the hair stylist in the credits, regardless of the era! And certainly Detroit's own Mr Tee is deserving of credit for keeping both Felix and Jarvis' jeri curls moist and fluffy on this heavy 80s groove pop soul effort....ROFLMBO
Gary, I listened to the show and was wishing to be the 13th caller for the Lotus/Prince CD...*oh well* LOL! I enjoyed your selections that you played of Marvin, one in particular by the Mizell's: Where Are We Going? Nice!
Anyway, great job! You have a sweet humility about you that I love. Keep up the good work my dear.
Gary...I downloaded the podcast that you did last week and my poor little raggedy PC exploded! LOL j/k, but I didn't have enough space on my harddrive to work with it. The file was too big. Dagnabbit! But your show was great!!!
The sound is just real low making it hard to hear.
Quincy Jones is thoroughly entwined in the musical background of my young adulthood. A genius of unique quality. I have been posting blogs and music throughout the years and decided to embark on the arduous but satisfying task of gathering some of it to remember the excellent legacy that he left.

Do they let you all play what you want or do they make you play what they prescribe? Just wondering.
