I hear you on that uploading. Imeem killed it basically for me. We were naive and innocent. MySpace bought Imeem and they have all of our music for sale on Amazon! I doubt anyone has bought anything though. what a crummy way to treat people. Stax folding was another horror. I watched The Isaac Hayes story on Unsung and that was just cold how Stax did him. That's about par for the course. When I was little, there was a show called Amos n Andy that came on TV. I loved it. I was 5. It was so popular among black folks and doing very well in the ratings. Then came the back in the day 'so-called' keepers of what's proper in liking anything black. They called black folks coons then too---the actors AND the audience that cheered the show on. Sooooo, it got pulled. Bottom-line? Jealousy. Period. I researched those Hoteps. What a scream. People kill me on those imaginary judgment seats.

I am personally incensed by their actions and don't support them one iota. Each city has free access to the Legacy Version of Ancestry at the public library but you have to go there to get into it. I was able to go a little further back into my family records that way. Family Search . com is free but they too, have been contaminated by Ancestry. To make matters worse, once you subscribe it's difficult to get free of them charging you.

If you do decide to go that route however, do it through Paypal. They provide an extra layer of protection. Also, try HeritageQuest Online... through the Library. You need a library card to access it. I was angry to see the Ancestry mob has now contaminated them too though. Try Freedman's Records too but I don't know much about them.

There's no charge for the Legacy Version at the library. They have a contract with Ancestry. But you have to go there to do the research.

As for the autoplay function, I was referring to the default player, which by the way doesn't show on chrome or android due to flash being obliterated. I added the player you hear as a work-around which works across browsers. On my laptop, your default player pops on as autoplay but mine has to be clicked not once...but twice to play. I can't figure out why. An anomaly I guess.
