- About Me
- I am an actor/singer/lyricist/composer/poet/teaching artist hailing from Chicago, Il. I grew up listening to music of all genres, especially jazz, r&b, rock and gospel! The acting bug bit me @ 13 when I played Tootie in "Cooley High" and I have been acting ever since. After graduating from college, the teaching bug bit and I have been teaching acting ever since! I moved to LA and continued my creative journey. After 9 years, I relocated to NYC to reach for Broadway and Higher!!! Singing, Songwriting and Poetry have since EXPLODED from my Soul and I am Endlessly Creating! I LOVE Creativity, Life and the Positive Force! I love old school! Having been on Broadway, as well as, television and film I am looking to further enrich my journey by adding music as a HIGH achievement. I have been a back up vocalist for Nhojj, Jason and DeMarco, Emmy award-winning composer & producer Gary Malkin and multi-award winning Vocal Diva Extraordinaire, Patti LaBelle. I am currently working on an EP CD and a series of books of poetry!!! Stay tuned for my journey is ever evolving!!!!
