Being born in 1951, I was around when the Big Bands played--but was too little to really get into it..shoot! I do remember talk of The Big Ballrooms though, and personally visited the Regal many times. I saw Pearl Bailey live there. Let me go find Larry Darnell..and see this foiness you talkin bout...lol
