Gordon is on of my favorite photographers. His work spanned across many decades in the nineteenth century. He had an eye that was able to capture emotion and display lifestyles.

I concur! Without Parks' visual input, our history and our learning style as 'visual' people, would not have the same effect. His 'Grio' -type photographic storytelling was simply awesome!
