Impressive blood lines Brother OSC...Well a good starting place is www.ancestry.com, i'm a member there, but i never really tried to do anything there...We have a mixture of Cherokee and White blood...The beautiful lady up above, my Great-Grandmother is Bi-Racial...Her Daddy my Great-Great Grandfather is White and her mother is Black/Cherokee...I have seen a couple of my white cousins over the years, but i was a small child back then....I wonder does any of them look like me?

I LOVE this picture..your Papa looks like a chief for real..
and sweet Mama Widdie...thank you for posting this becuase I lost mine in the mishap...I have been trying to do something with their pic for the longest to this music.

Now I'll try again and I'll try to find a pic of Chief White Cloud...I have been researching mine too---from info pieced together from the family--mainly Momma.

Awwwww...This is beautiful and i love this song...I found out over the summer that my Great-Great Grandfather was a Cherokee Chief named White Cloud, but when i tried to find him online, there were a lot of Chief White
Clouds....SMH/LOL. My moms cousin in Ohio is working on finding out his name. This would be my Great-Grandfathers Daddy and how i wish i had a pic of him, i bet he looks just like my Papa....SMILE

Quincy Jones is thoroughly entwined in the musical background of my young adulthood. A genius of unique quality. I have been posting blogs and music throughout the years and decided to embark on the arduous but satisfying task of gathering some of it to remember the excellent legacy that he left.
