As within, so without. Selah....
Tropical depressions imminent,
catered to hot rains, known as my tears.
No time for long stories...
springtime is around my corner, prematurely,
coming early because she heard, and became upset
that winter ravaged my barren lands,
And denied life to my hypothermic soul.
Erratic became my vision
when I spotted you, fluttering with sunrays
as your spotlights
around my earth,
brave and unafraid you come close
and sit on my lap,
I do not move.
You tickle my nerves,
running your fingers up my arm,
and I smile.
defying death was your mastery,
why should you, be afraid of me?
My lesson was simple:
beauty is but a fleeting thought
from whence you came,
and where you will go,
you need no protection.
I touch your metamorphisic cheek,
you flutter....
feeling the silky fibers of ebony and creme
colored swirls of your destiny,
and excitement became your passion.
You fly away from me,
brushing my cheeks with your wings of healing,
the forecast changed...
leaving me the sunrays that you brought,
overshadowing my tropical depressions,
I smile.
mariposa...
