Black and silver shadows
hang on my window sill
...light dripping from a rainy sky
I lay upon my pillow...still
...as the clouds thunder lazily...by.

Willowy figures dance across my walls
as the branches reach for the hidden
sun
visions of happiness...coming and gone
...senses
having ...fun.

The black and silver shadows
brush and cover me
as a quilted garment of love
as I close my eyes and dream
of your smile...as the raindrops
...twinkle
gently...above.

You've Been there, you remember:

That special place where once- Just once- in your crowded sunlit lifetime,
You hid away in shadows from the tyranny of time.

That spot beside the clover
Where someone's hand held your hand,
And love was sweeter than the berries,
Or the honey,
Or the stinging taste of mint...
