Hey Suggah..yes I've heard of them although I was only 5 when they hit big with their first number. Here's that gif I wanted to put in your comments before but I thought you didn't want any--now that I know you do...lol
You know that's not them on the comment you left me, right? They are the first ones in this graphic--but I love the one you left --I just LOVE those doowop pics and I hate it when I can't find one of the group I'm researching. Just about every group on that DooWop blog that I did I can't find..*groan* Love You!
I do remember the name. Good to see you still representin' out here in cyberland. This is quite the place Edie has here. I've just arrived but plan to stay for a minute. Thanks for the add man. peace, mellO~
Hey Baby! Your Mama is hangin in here,,I'm in Chicago on laptop because Momma had surgery Tuesday-major.
I'm okay--she is too. She's still in the hospital and I'm here with her...glad to hear from you and love you to pieces...say, that graphic is splendid..who did it--it's tight!!!
I suffered a bit of a crisis today. I looked at my C drive and it only had a sliver of space, something like 488k or whatever--so I panicked! I had zipped my entire picture folder of 3,804 pics and was zipping my music. I didn't realize that zipping is copying the files. I figured the pics were zipped in Winwar and went and deleted the MyPictures folder then hurried and deleted the trash folder and deleted the system restore to try and get space...to my HORROR..I lost all the pics 'and' the zip folder and can't go back in system restore. I'm heartbroken.
What a lesson learned. I should have waited but I was frantic--I thought my pc would crash if I didn't make room...*groan*
You know, I've always felt like that song was prophetic in the words and never knew it was released only after his untimely demise...you find the best stuff SoleBaby...I'm eating it UP!
ROFLMBO..say it ain't so! It was very well written and executed but the ending was like Northern Exposure in it's strangeness. If I ever see the creator David Chase I'mma pop his glasses off..hmph. Tony had me rollin with that mudda fadda stuff and you say your 'own' brudda loved it?
My daughter was addicted to it too. I've had alot of good fun getting her to fill me in. Them folks was a mess--and Silvio with that Dick Tracy konk--lawd. The man was cold!
I came in on it in the 11th hour believe it or not. I never had any incentive to watch it because I didn't have HBO then Time Warner gave it to me for free for a few months. At first I was appalled because of all the vulgarity--but somehow found myself getting pulled into the storyline, in addition to falling for Tony's character...umph umph umph. Then I went to their website and caught up on all of the episodes.
I just noticed all of those same transplants from the movies..but it's all moot since you never saw my cuddly bear Tony anyway. He cracked me UP saying..Mudda and Fadda..lol
Did you watch The Sopranos? Almost everybody that was in Goodfellows was in the series. I mean everybody--and all the fossils from The godfather too--even Michael's bodyguard from Sicily. Dag! LOL
Strange is an understatement. Whoa..it's almost like that interview James did when he was stewed out of his gourd. I had that same feeling--like scared for what they would say next.
I'm ready for some more stories--you're like a soul detective..lol
Quincy Jones is thoroughly entwined in the musical background of my young adulthood. A genius of unique quality. I have been posting blogs and music throughout the years and decided to embark on the arduous but satisfying task of gathering some of it to remember the excellent legacy that he left.
