Although SoleMann was never a Major Music Star, he was well known throughout the south from 1958 to 1962. He had 1 album titled "Come and Get Your Sole" which was released in the spring of 1958 and was well recieved throughout the south...

The Album contained 12 songs, most of which was written by SoleMann himself, but the one song that generated heavy airplay, was a song that was written by Fellow Chattanooga, Tn. natives Arthur and Richard Brooks of The Impressions titled "For Your Precious Love"

Hey Bert, i'm doing ok...Sorry i have not been around much lately, my computer crashed a few weeks ago, so i'm on my Girlfriends computer and it's been shared 3 ways....LOL. Glad there is one here though....LOL

At first I thought that was marvin Sapp, the former football player singing that song. :) And I agree, Ruben didn`t come anywhere close to Al Green`s version. But , at least he had the guts to try.
