Autumn's painting
took on epic proportions
for as far
as my eyes
could see.

Soft greens and oranges
swirling through mahogany,
...mingled with
the magnolia tree.

Tiny strokes
of lavender,
dotted with silver
on floating
chestnut-gray..
Fire engine red
infused within
the crisp
breezes sway.

I inhale visions
that fill me,
then dissipate into
splashes of glitter,
and of gold
..saturating my thoughts
while the wind I
catch (as a firefly)
and hold.

I stroll
The Creator's
wondrous 'canvas'
as autumn floats
from the branches
through time and
through my space.

Instead of thick
foliage above
in the oak,
I see the sun's
rays sprayed
in it's place.

My thoughts
are laced with
rushing contentment
and love..
merging as if
to belong, with
moods of autumn,
and moods filled

with...you.
