When I get a moment, I will convert the video for downloading and post the medley of the old classics they sing on Soundstage. Louis does a smoking version of "Ain't Too Proud Too Beg".

Well that was a rarity for me to see that video. I never knew of him before. I liked the way they were dressed too.

Thanks to all!
I've been playing Bass for about 34 years. So I've played with tons of singers here in Chicago. Which is a mecca of great talent. But when I saw that concert with Louis and The Temps...I was blown away! He has a natural god-given talent. And he seems to have perfect intonation. Which means he never goes flat or sharp while singing. Can't teach that! LOL I had the pleasure of playing Bass for Ali Woodson about 2 years ago. Another great singer who loves his craft.

Yep, he is a smooth one...It would be nice if he and Ali Ollie Woodson would do a duet, now that would be tight.

I'm grateful to Jesse James Williams as well.

Louis is very comfortable in his ability. He is quite phenomenal...and underexposed.

I tried to find him on White Men Can't Jump's Soundtrack...to no avail. Oh well.

He is tight!!! Look at 4:03-4:10!!! Bwa ha ha!!! Brother Man is TIGHT...smoove as butta!!!!

Quincy Jones is thoroughly entwined in the musical background of my young adulthood. A genius of unique quality. I have been posting blogs and music throughout the years and decided to embark on the arduous but satisfying task of gathering some of it to remember the excellent legacy that he left.
