Oh no. I'm very sorry to hear about your father's health. I can understand. I'm always thinking about you and 'our gang' here. What fun we've had. it's a privilege to still be here. Sending hugs and love ♥
Hey Baby! So nice to see your note. Our little 'ghost town' is celebrating 12 years up this month. I'm doing well. I like your beard. Thanks for thinking about me honey. Love and Hugs! ♥
As for the autoplay function, I was referring to the default player, which by the way doesn't show on chrome or android due to flash being obliterated. I added the player you hear as a work-around which works across browsers. On my laptop, your default player pops on as autoplay but mine has to be clicked not once...but twice to play. I can't figure out why. An anomaly I guess.
That is so weird. I notice that your playlist plays automatically as well but no other on my pages will. They have to be manually started. Seems like a browser thing. Anyway, here's the response again just in case:

I am personally incensed by their actions and don't support them one iota. Each city has free access to the Legacy Version of Ancestry at the public library but you have to go there to get into it. I was able to go a little further back into my family records that way. Family Search . com is free but they too, have been contaminated by Ancestry. To make matters worse, once you subscribe it's difficult to get free of them charging you.
If you do decide to go that route however, do it through Paypal. They provide an extra layer of protection. Also, try HeritageQuest Online... through the Library. You need a library card to access it. I was angry to see the Ancestry mob has now contaminated them too though. Try Freedman's Records too but I don't know much about them.

That's about par for the course. When I was little, there was a show called Amos n Andy that came on TV. I loved it. I was 5. It was so popular among black folks and doing very well in the ratings. Then came the back in the day 'so-called' keepers of what's proper in liking anything black. They called black folks coons then too---the actors AND the audience that cheered the show on. Sooooo, it got pulled. Bottom-line? Jealousy. Period. I researched those Hoteps. What a scream. People kill me on those imaginary judgment seats.
Hahahaha! I love it. My son took me last week. I liked it too, especially the clothes. All that other stuff doesn't matter in the long run. Folks be hatin'. But when push comes to shove, who cares. Hotep fools? Bwahahahahaha! You kill me.

It really is a blessing. You know I have 2 streaming stations now. Still a mad scientist but wish I knew more technically. I miss Cat too, and my Tone. I don't know where he is but he pops in occasionally and drops some treasure off. EFM Radio: E.FM Radio Channel 1 E.FM Radio Channel 2
OMGoodness! You know you be JAMMIN! Hey Honey!!!! You always check on your Mama! I appreciate that...along with the jammie jams!!!! Love and Hugs! You know we just quietly celebrated our 10 year anniversary (of the site).
Quincy Jones is thoroughly entwined in the musical background of my young adulthood. A genius of unique quality. I have been posting blogs and music throughout the years and decided to embark on the arduous but satisfying task of gathering some of it to remember the excellent legacy that he left.

There's no charge for the Legacy Version at the library. They have a contract with Ancestry. But you have to go there to do the research.

Hey Baby! Yes I did, on August 31 ... I'm looking at it. Can you describe what you're seeing in your comment section? That concerns me.
