Here you go Sylvia:

Omni - Omni Says It All. (1980)

Omni members were Rodney Massey, Larry Williams & Lawrence Hanks.
Although I'm not really that well acquainted with the LP from 1980 , what I can tell you is I believe that its from "Southside" in Chicago & was on Jerry Butler's Fountain label. Omni were one of the few last links in the Chicago soul scene at that time & they had a superb harmony sound that was very much like late 70's Chi-Lites material! Most tracks on the LP are midtempo with (as you'd expect) alot of synthesizer & keyboard work, but to me the vocals are still the strongest part of the record. "You Make It Happen" "Keys To The City" "Strong On You" "When You Stop To Think" & "Don't Be Selfish".

I like this, never heard of the song or group, so this is like new to me.
New to me too. Now where is Sylvia? LOL
Thx Edie, I feel asleep...I had a long weekend. I met the guy that played keyboards for this group about a month ago at the Checker Board in Hyde Park. The other cut from this album was "You Make It Happen". I'm singing along while I'm typing!! They just don't make music like this anymore.........
My pleasure.
