Oh I didn't know that...............Cool Info Thanks Will or is it Bill! You are right of course about his celebrity. As I researched his life, I found the documentary that I posted on my top page. The lifestyle and the quick fame seems to have spelled trouble and is the reason leading to prison and his eventual death............No way for a super star to leave our PRESENCE! Thanks for your thoughts!

Great post; I think a lot of people overlook the role Little Willie John played in R&B music and how indeed he and Sam shared a lot of sensibilities.
