Thanks Edie for that link. That has to be one of the Top Ten finds of the year. Now i can read all those back issues of Jet. Plus, You can do a Search for any person, place or event..... and up pops every Jet that has an article on it....with a direct link to the page. It don`t get no better than that. Only thing it left off was that Top 20 list of records that it has in the back. But I`m not complaining, what it does have is enough to keep me busy for a long long time.
Remember back in the day when almost everyone had display of their Jets on the coffee table? We sure did.

That's a precious memory, indeed Hoss. My thing was always the Photo Of The Week and I always looked to see if Lamonte McClemore did the Beauty of The Week. I had a monster crush on him and those pretty eyes...plus he could sang! Your Grandad sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing with us.

I can remember sitting on my grandparents porch with my cousin Ricky and Grandfather. Ricky and I would go through all the old Jets to the Beauty Of the Week and say " how bout this one grandad???" He would either whistle or give us the exaggerated Big Wink and crack us up. Ricky and I still talk about those days.
