BlueLight Basement Party

Remember when ...on any given night you could find a blue light shining from somebody's basement, to guide you to the house party? This is that place.

Back in the day, the place to party, other than in the school gym for sock hops, was to get together in someone's basement to dance the night away to great sounds. We'd turn on the blue lights ... make some popcorn ...fill soe bowls with potato chips ... make some punch. Fond memories, indeed.

It's the coldest jam I ever heard. The Temps were all in full form and I can imagine the studio melting from the power these gems put down!

I had forgotten about it until one day I heard a group called The Tempters do it at the Mall. I stood up and sang with em it was so good. I then went and found it on a rare album...the hunt was worth it.

Thanks C!

You'll Lose A Precious Love is a cold jam. I had this track on a rare collection. Too bad my PC crashed. Man I lost so much music......
