Remember when ...on any given night you could find a blue light shining from somebody's basement, to guide you to the house party? This is that place.

Back in the day, the place to party, other than in the school gym for sock hops, was to get together in someone's basement to dance the night away to great sounds. We'd turn on the blue lights ... make some popcorn ...fill soe bowls with potato chips ... make some punch. Fond memories, indeed.

They was gittin DOWN..I was a teenager when this came out and it was written by none other than Smokey Robinson..as well as the track You've Got To Earn It...which is led by Eddie Kendricks..
